Cavalier Bay _ Settelment map

Cavalier boots were popular with the pirates who first settled in this protected bay, which is how it got it's name. They settled here because the ways in are narrow and difficult to navigate a large ship through unless you are either very familiar with the route, or hire a local pilot. These days the 3 small settlements in the bay, which act like one town, are 'apparently' mainstream every day places, with no pirates in sight, they even have 3 watchtowers out on the headlands to keep an eye out for traders and travelers who want to enter the bay... However, a few locals know that many pirate captains still call Cavalier Bay home. The famous Captain Boots has their private home somewhere in the bay...  [see previous battle map 'Boots Cove' .... and you will see it on this map]

Thank you to Derek Burge who suggested "I'd love to see a tropical port town that may or may not service pirates" as the theme for the first official Settlement map... and to everyone who voted for it, I loved it, and hope you guys will too. I am already looking forward to finding out what the next one will be! 

Meanwhile I would love to hear about what sort of plots you might have in mind for this one :-)
