As April winds down towards its close, I thought I would give you guys a heads-up on my plans for May
May is going to be a commissions catch-up month for me, with no new Patreon releases except for the April Bonus map pack for Explorers and catching up with the free-version releases of older bonus map packs. … Though I will probably break out and play with a few ‘experimental’ maps that will be posted on our private Discord server.
Since getting back down to my home-state of Tasmania in Mid-January, my available mapping time has taken a major cut, largely due to less sunlight and needing to spend time helping my mother with gardening and renovating jobs that have been piling up over the last few years. When I am not staying with my mother, I am parked somewhere with no electricity and rely on solar power… so less sunlight effects how much time I can work on any given day… I am planning to acquire another solar panel before I go camping again, which will hopefully help, but we shall see.
Anyhow, As a result, the commissions I had committed to prior to knowing how my time would be cut this year, have been mostly languishing while I lavished time on maps for you guys…. Those maps have been a lot of fun… But it has reached crunch time for several of the commission and I need all the time I can get to complete them on time. Hence taking May off from Patreon commitments.
Thanks for continuing to encourage my mapping explorations.... Here's to a productive May so that I can get back to making maps for you guys in June :-)
Summary:
- No new paid/funded map releases in May so I can have time catch up on commissions
- The April extended bonus map set for Explorers will be released early in May
- Older free-version sets of the monthly bonus maps will continue to be caught up until we catch up to present time
- Aiming to be back making maps for you guys in June
