I just find it so difficult to read stories with a neurotic mess of a protagonist in which the neurotic mess aspect is so prominent. The worldbuilding seemed like it would be really fun to explore in Travels and Fate.

2022-07-04 13:15:59 +0000 UTCVoting dungeon core but I think travels would be lovely as a short series (the world building is fun)

2022-07-04 08:28:48 +0000 UTCI really like Travels the most. I hate to say it but Preapproved fate just feels like generic wizarding school and Dungeon Core for president is just another dungeon story out of hundreds.
2022-07-03 19:55:08 +0000 UTCPreapproved Fate, Dungeon Core, Travels in that order I think although I suspect that over time I might end up liking travels a lot more

2022-07-03 05:11:11 +0000 UTCI liked how Pre-Approved Fate had several small hints that technology was going to end up being really important, that always makes me happy in fantasy settings. I would be happy reading any of these stories though, although so far Travels has scared me off by being too... artsy?

2022-07-03 04:02:55 +0000 UTCI liked Core the most, mainly because while Travels was interesting, the only thing keeping me in was trying to figure out what letters and such were, I didn't really feel an attachment to the characters. I don't like Pre-approved fate, mainly just because it seems boring and common compared to the other two

2022-07-03 01:21:26 +0000 UTCI like the setting of Pre-approved the most, but am not the biggest fan of the main character - perhaps because of how guarded she is? Not to say it isn't realistic, just that it makes it hard to place myself in her shoes. I can imagine for a lot of readers, that mindset will make her more relatable! I like the mechanisms you're taking on the dungeon core story, and it is the one I voted for! I feel like it'll be a slower burn - which isn't a bad thing by any stretch! Travels is fascinating, but I worry it's a little more nebulous than the others, I felt the least attached to it. In all cases, I appreciate you sharing your projects, and involving everyone! I'll be a reader no matter which gets approved :)

2022-07-02 23:40:16 +0000 UTCCouldn't get into Travels. Enjoyed Fate, but so far it felt the most generic of the three. while I'm a sucker for non-human protagonists (particularly dungeons) and would love to see something different.

2022-07-02 23:37:12 +0000 UTCI found Core the most interesting of the three, mainly because I find human interactions with very nonhuman things very fun to read, but I'd be happy with Fate as well. I had some trouble getting into Travels, even though the world did seem interesting. I think I like the writing to be a little more personal.

2022-07-02 23:15:55 +0000 UTCTravels had the best worldbuilding but was irritating to read due to the format. Fate was the best overall in terms of writing even if it lacked what the other two had. Core was good but from what we got of it fate was generally better.
