Extended Stay: Behind the Scenes 4
Added 2019-06-24 20:19:20 +0000 UTCI was wanting to post some things for you and I found this sketch for an aftermath I was planning for the Komainu transformation. It was a happy aftermath and I had most of the story roughed out and this drawing but, I couldn't make the drawing quite work.
The problem was that I was using my "Art of My Neighbor Totoro" as inspiration. It inspired for a while but, then it became daunting because the art is SO DAMNED GOOD!
Seriously, pick up that book if you can find it.

Love the top image! Would have loved to see that inked and colored. Might pick up the book if it was the inspiration for this.
