Welcome to your first 2-parter! Most episodes of NuWho are stand alone stories but there are a few 2 part episodes. If you want to know of future 2-parters just ask. The classic Who was always filmed in serial form with each story consisting of 2-12 30 minute episodes which always ended on a cliffhanger. There was always a running gag that the TARDIS was always unreliable and never went where the Doctor wanted it to go, but would rather go where it was needed.
