I know these two flower Ornaments my whole life already. My parents always did camping, but with a fixed spot for rent on a campsite, with caravan and tent. The summer in my childhood and teen years always been on campsite. I have good memories for it ;u;
Today I still do camping during summer, with my mother QuQ
As you see on the photos, the ornaments had seen better times, and I decided to put my hands on them!
Of course I had to made one of them Guild Wars 2 related because.....my heart just told me to do so... xD
When I started working on them, first thing I did was using some sandpaper on it. Next step was preparing it for colors while adding some white color paste.
After two or three layers of it, I could finally use my Acrylic colors xD After many years... A few of them became useless by now lol
It took a few days to color them. But when I was done, I added some (acrylic) lacquer to make it more waterproof and such for being outside.
Last but not least I put them in the ground at campsite. Thanks to Corona, there still is a lot to do there since it wasn't allowed to come there while lockdown back in march, april.. And we are about to change a few things ( = stone tile in background lol) Aaand I need to cut the grass a bit more where I placed them now but I could not wait any longer to bring them back in their new glory xD
