On a separate note I find it hilarious how Theta raged at Lacus for flirting/falling in love with Kira while she was technically still Athrun's fiancée and now Cagalli is technically guilty of doing the same with Athrun now that it has been retroactively established that she has been in an arranged marriage with Yuna since they were children, but Theta was all for Kira kidnapping Cagalli if he was bringing her to Athrun. More seriously, I cannot believe that Uzumi Nara Atha would ever agree to arranging Cagalli to marry with someone like Yuna who doesn't actually care for her and I could never see Cagalli from SEED season 1 ever agreeing to an arranged marriage with someone like Yuna.

Everything that has been going on with Cagalli in Destiny so far is one of the major criticisms of Destiny that is commonly levelled against the show. The general consensus is that how Cagalli has been portrayed so far and how she will be portrayed for most of Destiny was character assassination. While Theta is absolutely correct that Cagalli is completely unprepared for being the Chief Representative, the way she has been acting so far is not in line with who her character was in SEED. Cagalli in the first season would not let Yuna walk all over her like he has been and is intelligent enough to see through Yuna's attempts at manipulation. In the political situations where Cagalli is unprepared to act properly, she should be reacting passionately and angrily at how the Seirans are trying to make Orb betray its principles and be smart enough to know that joining the Earth Alliance could force Orb's participation in the current war. To summarize as Theta said "Cagalli is a girl of action", but she has been completely passive and been made stupid to allow Yuna to badger/manipulate her and allow the Seirans to effectively take control of Orb.

Lessons mentioned it once, from having read the wiki, and I treated it as a spoiler, as I don't recall ever being told that.
