3/22/2018 Weekly Entry: The Future of Miraculous, The Start of Spring + Other Stuff

Hello everyone! It’s time for another Weekly entry from yours truly to explain what the heck is going on 😂

Miraculous:

After spending more then 3 weeks posting Miraculous Ladybug reactions every day, we’re FINALLY going to be caught up as of Friday. Now that we’re caught up, that means it’s time to move into phase 2

What is phase 2 you ask? Theory Videos, Idea Brainstorms and Shipping Videos! Since I won’t be doing these with Hunter I’m going to script pretty much everything and go from there. I’m aiming 3 Miraculous related videos, 3 RWBY videos and 3 Nomad of Nowhere Videos a week

Nomad of Nowhere:
Speaking of Nomad of Nowhere, all our videos are doing really well. Hopefully when the episode actually releases this stuff will jump in views!

RWBY:
I’m not planning on cutting back on RWBY videos any time soon, and Hunter and I have a lot of cool ideas lately. For example the types of RWBY fans video, this is probably gonna have multiple parts. I was also thinking we could do one for types of Fanfiction as well.

Reactions:

I think it’s important that we talk about reactions again. This is something that I want my schedule to look like:

Friday: Nomad Of Nowhere Reaction + Review
Saturday: Nomad of Nowhere + Yuri On Ice
Sunday: Nomad of Nowhere + KH
Monday: Miraculous + RWBY
Tuesday: Miraculous + KH
Wednesday: RWBY + Miraculous
Thursday: RWBY + KH

So where do reactions fit in? The reality is now that RWBY is on Hiatus and KH isn’t coming out for a while, I probably won’t be able to make ALL these videos. So say on Thursday I can’t think of anything for KH, I’ll just release the reaction to Avatar, etc etc

It feels nice to finally have a plan that I really have some confidence in. Other then the videos with Hunter, all these videos are going to be scripted which presents an interesting challenge. The last time I edited something majorly it got blocked by YouTube, and so I had said “never again”, but as the channel grows and develops I want to figure out what to do next. Something I toyed around with is speed paints, actually. Not by me, if y’all know I can’t draw to save my life XD but I was thinking for these videos, it would be really cool to have someone “bring them to life”, through rough sketches or drawing. The problem is that’s a whole new Patreon goal, since art is expensive and I’d want to pay the artist properly. If I did say, 24 videos that needed this sort of art a month, I’m guessing that would be way over 480$, like 20$ per recording of them drawing, which I would speed up and put over my video with their YouTube channels and what not so they could get credit.

For now y’all will have to deal with gameplay and me colouring in kids colouring books 😂
