Equipment Poll!
Added 2019-01-04 16:20:10 +0000 UTCHello everyone! As part of your Patron perks you of course get to vote in polls I run - and this one is important.
As you know, Patreon funds quite a few different things, such as my Dropbox & Video Editor subscriptions, new equipment etc
But now that it’s 2019 and we have new lighting, a new computer, & a new office, I can’t exactly think of anything else the channel needs in particular, other then more videos of course 😜
But just because I can’t think of anything doesn’t mean you guys haven’t picked up on something that clearly needs fixing.
So I’m going to make a poll with a few options, but make sure to comment down below if you think I’ve missed something that definitely needs an upgrade.
1. Our Microphone. I’ve had this microphone for 4 or 5 years now. I’ve been able to improve it through audio editing and setting changes in OBS. But I can see why you guys would think a new one couldn‘t hurt given the age & quality of most USB Microphones.
If the microphone is what’s chosen for an upgrade I would buy one of those fancy microphones that come with those box things
2. Our Web Cam. The Web Cam I have isn’t the latest model, but it‘s only a model or two down. A lot of the complaints people had about our web cam have now been fixed because of our lighting set up and setting adjustments, but if you guys think it needs an upgrade I wouldn’t argue with you 😅
If the Web Cam is chosen I would get the latest model of the camera
3. Other. Like I mentioned there may be equipment you guys think needs an upgrade that I haven’t even considered, maybe more like accessories for a microphone rather then a new one or something like that. So if there’s something we absolutely need that I’ve neglected, comment it down below and I’ll definitely look into it.
If you think I’m over thinking it and everything’s fine, that’s what option 4 is for. 😅 Of course regardless I’m going to be focused on making videos, but you guys may think that’s way more important then buying anything.
