More Information About The Podcast Goal!

Hello everyone! As you can see, our $300 goal is our podcast goal. I've decided that since we are closer to the goal, only $25 away in fact, I would make a post about my plans for how this all is going to work.

If you guys didn't know, I used to be apart of, and then later hosted a Podcast with the staff of a Kingdom Hearts Website when I was 13-15 years old. I fell in love with doing it and I've been wanting to do it ever since, so this goal has been a really big deal for me and I'm super excited to reach it! But there may be some questions you have about it, so let's answer them!

What Type Of Podcast Is It Going To Be? 

After much discussion with Hunter, we decided on a specific format and Podcast "type". We would like it to sort of lean towards Always Open where we talk about life & dating related topics, but similar to the other Podcast I used to run, there may be longer, special Podcast Episodes where we break format. I already have a format mapped out that would look something like this:

- Community News & Topics: Us reminding everyone that Gen: Lock is releasing soon, additions or changes to the Patreon, announcements about fun videos we're working on, etc. If one of us had an extremely pressing topic we wanted to talk about, we'd do it here as well.

- 2 or 3, depending on time, different (secret :P ) "games" that will be in a rotation. For example if we were to do a series of Would You Rather Questions (which isn't what we're doing necessarily this is a hypothetical example cause my plans are SECRET), I would task Hunter with making a list for me, and I'd make a list for Hunter. Then we'd talk a lot like we normally do lol.

- Lastly, we'd do either questions submitted by Patrons if they really want our tragic advice about life and love and stuff, OR I have a really fun "table topics" box.

I will be trying to keep the Podcast on a consistent day, but because of our school schedules changing I would have to change it at least twice a year to fit in with our Fall and Winter semester. 

How This Fits In With Patreon Rewards!:

Firstly, Patrons who are above the $5 will be able to watch the Podcast Live, similar to how say, The Roosterteeth Podcast has a live viewing, which will later be shared with non-paying members at a later date. I would send out an "unlisted" link everyone could join through. This basically fits in with the "Early Access" tier reward. 

For the majority of the time, it'll be Hunter & I along with other RWBY YouTubers or friends if they are available, but $50 Patrons will have the option to be able to join us since that tier has the option to do collabs with us. 

$1 Patrons will be able to send their questions to us to be read on the Podcast. This will be different then the monthly Q&A, but it's a similar concept.
