4th Of October Patreon Update (1.1)

Hey everyone!

It hasn’t been a week from our last update but I have something to tell everyone!

As most of you know I still have my old computer (the hard drive crashed in 2018, which led me to buy a new computer. To clarify, we did get it fixed because it was cheap but after 6 years it seemed time for a new one). I also bought Ring Fit for the Nintendo Switch and I want to look into getting things such as a VR headset.

My announcement is operation living room! Basically we will move the computer into the living room in the basement, hook it up from the TV and stream from there.

To get into numbers....:

In September for YouTube we got paid $169. For the computer to work in the living room I needed to get a wifi extender to act as an Ethernet port (my old and new computer does this, they don’t have wifi and idk why). The one I got was about $45, but since I know they work and I ordered from amazon who is good with returns I’m not too worried. My mom says we probably have an old table to put the computer on if we can’t fit it beside the TV but that should also be fine.

I have my old blue yeti microphone from before we upgraded to the one you see in our videos. The only issue I see with using it is that it may be a bit far away, but we’ll see how far the USB cord goes. I can put it on a table closer in front of me instead of leaving it far away on the computer so I don’t find that to be an issue. I also have my old web cam so we are basically good to go as soon as I get the wifi extender.

The rest of the YouTube money from September will most likely go into paying for the actual ring fit game which was around $100. It includes the game as well as the accessories, games are expensive in Canada lol.

To explain my general business strategy and why I thought this was a good investment, I’m not trying to get into twitch thot™️ territory but I wanted to start exercising, I really like the idea of Ring Fit (it’s basically a Wii Fit RPG) so it seems like a win-win. It’ll also allow me to do some not-as-pervy VR games or Beat Saver if I can afford VR in the future. I also saw a girl beat Kingdom Hearts on a dance pad and things like that would be awesome to do, but we can’t do them in my tiny office.

Anyway that’s basically everything again for now. I’ll post some images and maybe do a test stream on the weekend because that’s when everything will most likely be set up.
