You can now pledge Annually & save 13%!
Added 2020-08-19 00:40:15 +0000 UTCGood day everyone! Patreon has added a cool new feature where you can pledge to a creator on an annual basis. By doing this you will get a 13% discount! You guys may want to do this for RWBY season, since if you’re going to be pledged for an extended period of time this year you can save money!
That means if you’re currently pledged at the $5 tier for example, you’d get around 2 months free through the discount! If you’re pledged at the $10 tier, 12 x 10 is $120, and you’d pay only $104 using the discount! (If this math is right lol)
Doing this would not only help support me, but save you some money as well if you are a patron who’s been sticking with me for years! This also reduces transaction fees, according to Patreon as well as reduces issues with your credit card being declined some months and going through other months.
For existing patrons, Patreon has given me a list of the following steps to help you switch:
Log in, hover over your profile icon in the top right corner, and select Manage Memberships
From your Active Memberships page click Edit next to the pledge you want to change
You’ll see a familiar checkout page where you can select Annual
Click Update. Note: you’ll be charged upfront for the discounted price
New patrons, visit my Patreon page where you’ll see the option below the “Join” button of your chosen tier.
