Weekly Update 04.23.18
Added 2018-04-23 18:11:38 +0000 UTCThought I’d accomplished all my goals for last week, but alas, I shall have to redo page six of BORN. Not completely, just a couple panels. I have a few tangent issues to solve. I’ve always been bad at spotting tangents in my own work. Fortunately, I have friends to point them out for me. I’ll be posting the page in a little while so you guys can see it. Will have it redrawn later this week (I hope). Fortunately I don’t have to start from scratch.
Onto the next page of Stress Relief, which is pretty much what today will be about. The story board is done, I just need to get those panels to fit on a single page. Should be a fun one. :)
Will be out of town for a couple days later this week, but hopefully that won’t interfere too much with my drawing schedule. Fingers crossed.
I’ve always been really bad about sketching for fun. I used to carry my sketchbook all the time. You’d never see me without it. These days though pretty much everything I draw ends up as part of my finished work or in the bin. I’ve gotten too comfortable at my drawing table. This has made it more difficult to draw in public and to get my ideas out quickly. High time I turned that around. So this week, I’m going to start carrying my sketchbook more often. Gonna try and fill the sucker. If it’s not too crappy, it’ll give me more stuff to share with you guys. :)
