Weekly Update 10.28.2019...

We are starting chapter 4 this week! I was working on page 25 for a few days and couldn’t get it to jive the way I wanted before it suddenly occurred to me that it didn’t really serve a functional service to the comic. It was filler. Fluff, if you will. So I’m cutting it out. Chapter 3 is done! Onto Chapter 4!
The next page is about 90% laid out and almost ready for lines. I want to take my time to make it look good, so I’m thinking a Wednesday or Thursday release.
I’m going to be changing up my release schedule over on DevArt once chapter 3 is posted. I love doing two pages a week, but it’s forcing me to cut corners (even with the page buffer I have to work with). None of that. I’m tired of hearing myself say that a page is “good enough”.
Super excited about chapter 4! It’s going to be a real challenge, but a lot of fun too! DnD references incoming!
Speaking of DnD references, last week we went to see a college production of a play called SHE KILLS MONSTERS, a story about a girl trying to get over the death of her sister by playing a DnD campaign that she finds in her room. It was a little heavy handed at times (as plays often are) but it had a lot of very smart moments, lots of laughs and some great DnD battles (giant puppets!). The set was very nice too! If you find this play in your area, it’s worth checking out.
Okay, let’s get to work! Excited and nervous to be starting a new chapter! This is gonna be a long one with lots of fun/sexy moments and a few fun twists on the horizon. So let’s get to it! Have a great week everyone!

Sounds like a good way to go about the next chapter, speed is good but not when it messes with your quality or makes you have to cut corners as you say. Take your time and greatly looking forward to what you have planned!
