…We broke the 400 Patron mark!!! Actually, we kinda smashed it! Thank you all so much for helping me make Stereoscope Comics possible! I can’t wait to share more comics with you all!

I don’t really have much to talk about this morning and I’m starting to think that’s a good thing. A lot has happened in the past few weeks and I’m looking forward to just focusing on work and comics for a while.

The next three pages of BLACK LABEL are roughly sketched and Consentacles 2 is about 40% thumbnailed and the script is a lot tighter! So this week I want to get the next page of BLACK LABEL done, I’d like to finish a new design for Consentacles 2 and if I have the chance, get the lines for the another page of BLACK LABEL done.

Why so much? Well, it’s not really about finishing everything, it’s about figuring out ways to streamline my work flow and finding shortcuts that don’t sacrifice the quality of the comics. For example, when toning the hair on a page I used to create multiple layers to get the effect I want. Not anymore! I can do it with a single layer now and finish the hair in about half the time. I also started using some different brushes for the line art and it has made things much easier. Can’t wait to see what I learn this week!
