Weekly Update 04.06.2020...
Added 2020-04-06 19:38:55 +0000 UTC...I hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy!
Thank you all for your continued support here on Patreon! I super appreciate it!
The next page of BLACK LABEL is mostly laid out with just a few adjustments needed before I start in on the line art. As you’ve probably guessed, it’s gonna be a fun page! Heck, the next few pages are gonna be fun! Complicated, but fun!
Today my wife and I are celebrating our Sixth Anniversary! Super excited to spend the day focused on each other, so I likely won’t be getting much drawing done today. No regrets. :) I’ve heard that there are some nice trails north of town so we’re going to take a drive up there to check them out. Hopefully the weather holds (it’s been raining all weekend).
Been listening to a lot of Creepypastas on Youtube while I work (mostly CreepsMcPasta). Some great spooky stories. Just finished re-listening to one called Pen Pal. If you’re into creepy stuff, I recommend it! I’ve also been going back through the Horror Babble archive and listening to their stuff as well. A lot of great, forgotten classics over there; featuring Lovecraft, Poe, Bloch and others. Also highly recommended!
So far as music, it’s been mostly movie scores and Panic! At The Disco.
This is the way I work:
Writing/Scripting: Music (Instrumental)
Sketching and design phase- Music (Instrumental)
Detailed Sketches- Music (Instrumental)
Line Art and Toning- Music, Podcasts, Audiobooks, basically anything
Any suggestions for my sound track this week?
Hope you all have some fun and exciting projects planned for the week! Stay safe and stay healthy! Let’s make some comics!

2020-04-08 16:06:01 +0000 UTCWell after a direct reply like that I don't think it will ever be appropriate to share my leanings towards mainstream rock. But if you have Discord you're welcome to add me and hop into my playlist whenever. I have a very diverse taste in music

2020-04-08 11:24:23 +0000 UTCWe support a local band near us -- the core is a couple (songwriter/guitar/vocal guy and his wife does vocals), then friends to expand anywhere up to like 10 people. Bone Poets Orchestra -- you can find them on YouTube, etc. I dunno if they would be at all your style, but we have been friends with them for 20 years or so. And, yeah, aging pagan hippie here, sort of.

2020-04-08 02:57:45 +0000 UTCI’m mostly a rock and instrumental guy. A lot of Hans summer and James Newton Howard scores and a lot of meatloaf, Bon Jovi, fallout boy and the like. Recently discovered panic! at the disco and I’m really it

2020-04-08 02:10:56 +0000 UTCNot bad! Will be really hand if I ever run a Cyberpunk campaign. Feels like something I would play while doing something arts and crafts related (rpg prop makings and such). Thanks for the recommendation!

2020-04-08 02:10:41 +0000 UTCI don’t know how I haven’t listened to this guy before. I’ve seen the panda art all over the place and he did an Adam Warski song. Thanks for the recommendation!

2020-04-07 06:50:26 +0000 UTCYou ever listen to Macross 82-99? It's pretty cool "future funk." Don't know whether you would find it good drawing music, but who knows?

2020-04-07 02:19:27 +0000 UTCHappy anniversary and I hope you guys stay healthy. I recommend Ken Ashcorp because it is wacky and maybe up your alley for drawing. It’s not instrumental.
2020-04-06 23:31:18 +0000 UTCThanks! We will!👍
