There are 2 words I said in the video that I want to clarify in this post.
The first word is: ใช้สอยจับจ่าย (chái sŏi jàp jàai) at 02:36 minutes
Most beginners know these two words ใช้ (chái), which is "to use" and จ่าย (jàai), which is "to
pay". The whole thing combines into an expression that means "to spend money". This expression is more 'poetic' and sounds nicer than it's an easier alternative which isใช้เงิน (chái ngern).
The second word is: ลูกพลับ (lôok-pláp) at 03:08 minutes
It means persimmon or caqui. It's one of my favorite fruit. It's expensive compared to other fruits, especially the fresh ones. That's why I prefer the dried one (like what I bought, as you see in the video), which is called ลูกพลับแห้ง (lôok-pláp hâeng). แห้ง (hâeng) means "dry". I've attached a photo for you in this post.
