August Fan Favorites NOW OPEN for Submissions! This month's theme is TRIOS!

Hi friends! The Fan Favorites channel over on our Discord is live and ready for your submissions for the August 2025 episode of Fan Favorites! 

REMEMBER: Fan Favorites submissions are ONLY accepted via our Fan Favorites channel on The Daily Doug Discord. Any recommendations made in comments here will not be considered.

THIS MONTH'S THEME: Trios

We’re excited to hear your favorite music from your favorite musical trios! Any genre is welcomed.

We welcome submissions of:

• Music from established trios (Rush, ELP, etc)

• Music from ad hoc trios (like musicians from different bands who got together to record one album or one song, or musicians who did a one-time performance together at a concert or awards ceremony, etc)

• Music from a trio of singers backed by accompanying musicians (like The Supremes, the Bee Gees, Destiny’s Child, etc)

THIS IS THE FORMAT/TEMPLATE FOR A COMPLETE SUBMISSION IN THE #FAN-FAVORITES CHANNEL ON THE DAILY DOUG DISCORD:

.suggest title of song/piece, name of musician/band/composer, YouTube link, and a short backstory (optional)

Example submission:

.suggest “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy” The Andrews Sisters http://bit.ly/3Umn5ib Classic song from a trio of talented women.

RULES/INFO__:

• Post your submission in the #⁠fan-favorites channel on Discord

• The submission needs to be a publicly available (no paid subscription required) track from any music streaming platform (YouTube, Spotify, Bandcamp, etc)

• No music previously covered on the YouTube channel or on Patreon. Alternate versions of previously covered music will be considered on a case by case basis.

• Your submission should be less than 12 min. in length

• Only one submission per person per month
