This one was harder than I though because I really reeeeeally liked my previous way of shading! In that moment, of staring at it during the redraw, I seriously felt attacked by all those, ‘can’t settle on an art style’ meme and I don’t know why truly felt like the new version wasn’t really an improvement? This was truly an emotional rollercoaster.

SOoooOOOoo, a few points that logically thinking makes me believe that I improved with the new one, that doesn’t involve coloring/shading... is in (1) the clothing. What the fuck was I thinking when I made Namidako’s skirt? and why didn’t anyone tell me anything!? Like, umm... hey bish, you might wanna practice drawing, umm Idk irl clothing in general because you suck! LMAO. IM JOKING, PLEASE DONT EVER TELL ANYONE THAT. Seriously!

Anyways!!

(2) Hands, because y’all know HOW MUCH I PRACTICE HANDS BECAUSE FUK I CANT EVER GET THE RIGHT aaaaand (3) the eyes, since it’s one of the few things I’m currently really happy with.

So there! 3 points, for improvement. I’m definitely going to keep experimenting, figuring out how to shade like before in a way that fits the lineless way. So don’t hate me if I go back and forth with outlines and less. At least the catgirls will stay cats forever! Unless..? Agsfgshsjdjdjd lol
