The corruption issue became secondary. The Court looked more at whether or not they could intervene to begin with according to the 13th and 14th.

Not only was the court saying it did not have power to break the monopoly, but it also turned a blind eye to corruption. I am curious about whether the plaintiffs ever got the opportunity to introduce the corruption in oral arguments. What was the proof of corruption? Was there a corresponding conviction already? What is your opinion of the relavance of the corruption to the SC case?
