Please Add These 10 Amendments to the U.S. Constitution, Ok? Thank you.

I started this list around four years ago. I remember it was right around Election Day 2016. I'm so happy I finally got to make this video. If you have requested a video topic, I plan on releasing a handful of them over the next few weeks, so stay tuned for them.

Thank you for your continued support! I hope you all are staying safe and healthy.

Great list there!

Mr. Beat

Great Video! This brought up a few great points I have never thought of. If you listen to Congressman Justin Amash, or watch the documentary "The Swamp" on HBO which I highly recommend congress is clearly broken. Since Newt Gingrich congress has become glorified fundraisers and graded based on their ability to do so, then given positions and power based on that. #1 end lobbying #2 I would even make campaign finance equal via a subsidy for each congressman. (the idea that they stop being glorified fundraisers. #3 eliminate corporate fundraising or PAC fundraising. # 4 Rank choice voting. #5 end redistricting #6 larger congress ( love that idea stole it from you) #7 end electoral college #8 Term limits and longer terms for congress. This is the real draining of the swamp that I think most Americans can agree on.

Well thank you Raquell!

Mr. Beat

You make a good point about parity between parties. I just feel it's been so lopsided for so long that individuals often stand no chance fighting against them. Perhaps a rewording, or the Warren amendment actually looks pretty solid, too.

Mr. Beat

Thank you thank you!

Mr. Beat

Well, they'd have to pass them for the future when they're out of office. :)

Mr. Beat

Happy birthday!

That was a good video, and a suprisingly appropriate response to what is currently going on. That list is not perfect, I would argue that the US has a unique method of raising average citizens to service thorugh the electoral process. Therefore, being combersome on purpose allows us to get the best political representation. State caususes (sp?) clearly bring out the candidtates, and limit the attack ads, but also make it difficult for the average working American to participate in the election process. I also disagreed with your assertion that corporations should not have the rights of citizens. On the face of it, this seems like an outrageous position, but when you look at US Contract Law it makes sense. Contract law insures (or is supposed to), parity between parties. If I ask you to do something, then I am expected to do the same, or make equal effort for accomodation. This was an essential builing block for our country. If I take that away, I run the risk of only allowing the Government to have limited liability and then they just provide the same services. That is what Socialism is, and that doesn't work especially well either. I would, however, favor a "Warren" ammendment (Elizabeth, that is), giving agencies that govern corporations equal enforcement power as criminal law enforcement organizations. This would also have the additional benefit of forcing local law enforcement to being policing business and the population equally.

Happy Birthday! Like the humor you add to your videos.

Great video. Thoughtful ideas. I don't trust our corrupt government to pass anything that would affect them.
