I found the least bad way to tax

You all know that I am not a fan of corporate or income taxes (wealth taxes and excise taxes are ok, in my opinion), but after researching Henry George and his land value tax over the past few weeks, I can safely tell you that a single, land value tax is the best way to go.

Maybe someday in the distant future we can actually see it happen at a widespread level.

So yeah, I'm biased toward liking Georgism, but what do YOU think? What am I missing? Why is a single, land value tax a pipe dream? Let me know. :)

Thank you for your continued support!

I dont like this one but i also belive that land itself is one execption to be a fixed rate. and only resources built, extracted from, r buildings built on have real value.

A quick start would be the Wikipedia page for Looking Backward but I encourage you to read the book.

No I haven't but I ought to check it out!

When you said the picture was from someone unknown with an influential book on Economics I thought it was Edward Bellamy. Have you read his book “Looking Backward”? At one time it was voted the most influential book of the 19th century after “Das Kapital” by one of the Marx brothers.

Looks interesting. I'm looking forward to learning this alternative tax scheme.

Also, a shout out to my daughters for helping to film me! Don't worry, I paid them in ice cream and cash.
