New billing change!
Added 2022-09-26 23:10:54 +0000 UTCPatreon has decided to make a sensible change to their billing system that should have always been there to begin with. So I've decided to make the switch.
From now on, new Patrons will now be billed on the day they signed up. So no more double paying if you signed up in the middle or end of the month.
Existing Patrons: Nothing changes for you, and you will continue to be charged the first of the month.
New Patrons: If you are seeing this post right after or before signing up, whatever day it is now when you signed up will be when you will be charged each month from now on. You will see when your next charge will be when inputting your information.
New Patrons who joined earlier this month: I believe from what Patreon has said that you will still be charged the first of the month moving forward.
I made this change for two main reasons: 1) it makes it so that double charges are a thing of the past, and 2) It will make it a lot easier for me to discern how long someone has actually been a member and when to deliver Patreon rewards. So I believe this is an all around good change, and I'm glad Patreon decided to implement this.
