Psionic Ch. 80 - Battling The Clan of Dragons

[February of 2013]

[Monster Planet: Arkingray]

3rd PoV

Swoosh~

Andrew sat at the back of the blue dragon, Acno, as he took in the breathtaking view of this planet called Arkingray. Trees that towered even the tallest skyscrapers on Earth stretched towards the heavens, their vibrant foliage creating a mesmerizing tapestry of colors. Exotic animals that could not be found on his former home walked peacefully, minding their own business, as they coexisted in this extraordinary ecosystem.

All the animals had their own unique features. Some sported reflective scales that shimmered in the sunlight, providing them with a natural armor against predators. Others had long, razor-sharp claws that reached half their height, allowing them to navigate the dense undergrowth with ease. Andrew couldn't help but be impressed by the incredible diversity of life on Arkingray.

As Acno soared higher, Andrew's eyes were drawn to the horizon, where the sun was setting, casting a warm, golden glow over the landscape. The sky was painted with hues of orange, pink, and purple, creating a breathtaking backdrop for the magnificent world below.

As they continued their flight, Andrew noticed a group of creatures with iridescent wings flitting through the air, their delicate forms dancing gracefully on the breeze. He marveled at the sight, realizing that Arkingray was a treasure trove of undiscovered wonders.

Acno suddenly banked to the left, and Andrew's attention was drawn to a massive waterfall cascading down a cliffside. The water sparkled like diamonds as it caught the fading sunlight, and a rainbow arced across the misty spray.

"Like my planet?" Acno's voice was heard and Andrew quickly noticed the oozing pride from the dragon's voice.

"Hmm. Its not bad." Andrew nodded, using his peak acting ability to not let his amazement to the place known.

Acno clicked his tongue slightly at that but didn't let that deter him as he continued flying, air whipping to their bodies as the pressure increased after he further increase his speed and was now traveling at Mach 5 and counting.

Andrew was unperturbed as he just sat on the back with a calm look, his hair slightly waving because of the wind but nonetheless didn't affect him.

One Hour Later

The two was still soaring the skies when suddenly, a deafening roar echoed through the air, causing Acno to slow down and turn his head towards the source of the sound. Andrew followed his gaze and saw dots on the horizon, which quickly grew larger and larger until they could make out the shapes of five dragons.

The dragons were a sight to behold, each one unique in its own way. The leading dragon was another red dragon, similar to the one Acno defeated, but larger and more imposing. It had four horns protruding from its head, and its scales shimmered in the sunlight.

The second dragon was a sleek black dragon, with wings that seemed to stretch on forever. Its eyes glinted with intelligence, and Andrew could sense a cunning intelligence behind its gaze.

The third dragon was a majestic blue dragon, with scales that sparkled like diamonds in the sunlight. Its wings were broad and powerful, and Andrew could sense a deep wisdom emanating from its presence.

The fourth dragon was a fiery orange dragon, with scales that seemed to glow with an inner light. Its eyes blazed with a fierce intensity, and Andrew could feel the heat radiating from its body.

The fifth and final dragon was a regal green dragon, with scales that shimmered like emeralds. Its wings were broad and powerful, and Andrew could sense a calm and serene presence emanating from its being.

As the dragons landed in front of Andrew and Acno, the red dragon stepped forward, its eyes fixed on Acno. Its deep voice boomed with a mixture of anger and grief, "You killed my son. And you dare to still fly through the skies freely? You're courting death."

From the side, the fiery orange dragon impatiently chimed in, hot smoke billowing from its nostrils. "Kill him already, Great Elder." The red dragon, however, did not appreciate the interruption. With a sharp side-eye, it silenced the orange dragon, causing it to lower its head in submission.

The Red Dragon then turned back to Acno, and it was at that moment that it finally noticed Andrew calmly sitting on Acno's back. Its eyes narrowed, glowing with a fiery-red intensity as it spoke again. "Why is an ape sitting on your back?"

Andrew remained unbothered by the dragon's derogatory remark, choosing to relax and observe the unfolding situation. He was curious to see where the conversation would lead, and he couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement at the prospect of facing these five dragons, who appeared to be much stronger than the one Acno had fought before.

Acno, sensing Andrew's anticipation, responded to the red dragon's question with a hint of defiance in his voice. "This 'ape,' as you call him, is my friend and ally. We stand together, and we will face any challenge that comes our way."

The red dragon's eyes flickered with interest, and it seemed to consider Acno's words for a moment. The tension in the air was palpable, as the other dragons watched the exchange, waiting to see what would happen next.

Andrew couldn't help but slightly cringe at the cringey words of Acno but didn't voice it out and instead, did something immediately started the battle.

Wheeeng!

His eyes glowed in a powerful red as red beam of concentrated energy came out of his eyes and struck the fiery orange dragon at the side.

Swoosh!

Bang!

The orange dragon was thrown away from the attack as the other dragons finally moved and they also countered using their attack.

Andrew couldn't help but slightly cringe at Acno's words, but he didn't voice his thoughts. Instead, he decided to take action and immediately start the battle.

Wheeeng!

His eyes glowed with a powerful red light as a beam of concentrated energy shot out from them, striking the fiery orange dragon at its side.

Swoosh!

Bang!

The orange dragon was thrown off balance by the attack, its massive body crashing into the ground. The other dragons, realizing that the battle had begun, quickly moved into action, launching their own counterattacks.

The sleek black dragon's eyes glinted with a malevolent gleam as it unleashed a torrent of dark energy. The air around it crackled with an ominous energy, and Andrew was sure that if other were here, they would definitely feel a chill running down their spine as they watched this attack.

The dark energy took the form of a swirling vortex, black as the void of space. It grew larger and larger, its power increasing with each passing moment. Andrew could feel the pressure building, as if the very air around him was being sucked into the vortex.

Acno, however, was not intimidated by the black dragon's attack. He let out a fierce roar, his eyes blazing with determination. With a powerful flap of his wings, he soared towards the vortex, his body surrounded by a blue aura.

Swoosh!

As he neared the vortex, Acno unleashed a powerful blast of blue flames, which collided with the dark energy. The two forces clashed, creating a massive explosion that shook the ground beneath them.

Acno then managed to close in as he swiped using his sharp claws and this immediately wounded the black dragon as Andrew then released a powerful heat vision that brought the dragon to the ground. Unconscious.

Rustle!

Swoosh!

On the other hand. Seeing their comrade losing like that. The majestic blue dragon summoned a powerful gust of wind, its wings flapping with incredible speed. The air around it began to swirl and twist, creating a massive wall of wind that grew larger and larger with each passing moment.

At the same time. The green dragon summoned a barrage of razor-sharp leaves, its wings flapping with incredible speed. The leaves were a deadly weapon, honed to perfection by the dragon's incredible skill and power. It then made the leaves attack Acno and Andrew.

And the red dragon, still seething with anger, unleashed a torrent of flames. The flames was truly much more hot than the average as it even began melting the leaves of the trees meters away from the battle.

Acno had a determined look on his face as he watched the incoming attacks, his eyes blazing with a fierce determination. He knew that he had to act quickly if he wanted to avoid being overwhelmed by the combined power of the dragons.

With a deep breath, Acno dug his claws into the solid ground and spread his wings fully, preparing himself for what was to come. He then used his ultimate skill, summoning the energy of the surroundings to his mouth.

The energy gathered quickly, swirling and crackling around Acno as he prepared to unleash his attack. But the Red Dragon called Great Elder wasn't convinced, and it smirked as it spoke.

"That infamous attack of yours won't stop us. Now die!" the Red Dragon taunted, its eyes flickering with a mixture of arrogance and confidence.

Undeterred, Acno continued to gather his energy, his body surrounded by a fierce blue aura that seemed to grow stronger with each passing moment.

And then the attacks came, one after the other. The large torrent of flames that the red dragon had unleashed moved towards Acno, its heat radiating off it in waves. The huge wall of wind summoned by the blue dragon also moved towards Acno, its force growing stronger with each passing moment. And the countless razor-sharp leaves conjured by the green dragon hurtled towards Acno and Andrew, their edges glinting dangerously in the light.

Acno was ready to unleash his own attack, his body surrounded by a fierce blue aura that seemed to grow stronger with each passing moment. But before he could do anything, Andrew suddenly flew down and landed between the attacks.

He lifted a hand and faced his palm to the attacks, his face sporting a smile. And then, with a great boom that was heard by almost everyone in the 1000 kilometer radius, Andrew unleashed a massive energy beam that measured about 100 meters wide.

As Andrew's massive energy beam collided with the dragons and their attacks, a blinding light filled the area, illuminating everything in its path. The dragons' bodies were engulfed by the energy, their scales and flesh disintegrating piece by piece.

The red dragon's massive torrent of flames was the first to be consumed by the energy beam, its heat and intensity no match for the sheer power of Andrew's attack. The flames were quickly extinguished, leaving nothing but ash and smoke in their wake.

The huge wall of wind summoned by the blue dragon was next, its force and power unable to withstand the energy beam's incredible strength. The wind dissipated quickly, leaving nothing but a faint breeze in its wake.

And then there were the countless razor-sharp leaves conjured by the green dragon. The leaves were quickly consumed by the energy beam, their edges glinting dangerously in the light before disintegrating into nothingness.

As the dragons' bodies disintegrated, their scales and flesh turned to ash and disappeared into the air. The area was filled with the sound of crackling energy and the smell of burning flesh, a testament to the incredible power of the battle that had just taken place.

Clap!

Andrew clapped his hands as Acno then snapped out of his stupor and turned to the ape that made him its companion. His blank look was then replaced by wide eyes and then turned to amazement.

"That was so strong!" Acno exclaimed, his voice filled with a mixture of awe and admiration. He had never seen anything like Andrew's attack before, and he knew that it had been the deciding factor in their victory.

Andrew just smirked at him as he continued patting his clothes trying to remove the dirts that managed to clung. He then looked at the result of his attack. A large 100-meter-wide half tunnel-like shape appeared because of his attack.

The shape was a sight to behold, a testament to the incredible power of his attack. It could be seen through the far stretch of land, a reminder of the incredible battle that had taken place.

After that. Andrew then turned to the still-amazed Acno and spoke "Didn't you say you were one, if not the strongest dragon on this planet?"
