The Australian Media's High Horse

We usually don't spend much time covering international issues on the the channel and try to stay focused on Australian issues. But when the Australian media think they have the moral superiority to have the final words on certain aspects of this conflict despite their biases, it's time to make a video.
We would have liked to get this to Patrons earlier but we were tweaking this one until a few minutes ago, it will come out for all viewers later today. Keep your eyes out for a thread about the next Patron suggested video later this week, we're still working on 'Political Staffers Confess their sins' (or if that's even possible) but we'll start looking at the next video you guys want to see.

Whatever your position on Israel, you can't deny that Jewish control of the media is a major antisemitic talking point. Sure, let's have a discussion about how lobby groups influence the media. But when you point the finger at a specific Jewish lobby group and state that this group controls large sections of our media (without specific evidence, just a "vibe" based on a few paid trips), you recklessly feed into an antisemitic narrative. Honestly though, the worst part of the video is FJs using an SBS article about a "queer, trans, Jewish academic researcher with a Masters in Sexology" to support his argument that ordinary Jewish people don't agree with AIJAC. Utterly spineless to present some SBS-sponsored caricature of a turbo-lefty (someone who would usually be fair game for a FJs pisstaking) as the paragon of Jewish thought on any subject, let alone this one.
