Expensive Energy: Whose Fault is it?

[Early Access]

Power prices are skyrocketing, but whose fault is it?

Could it be the Liberals who spent a decade manufacturing this crisis?
Or could it be Albo who has had days to figure this mess out?

It boggles the mind.

Expensive Energy: Whose Fault is it?

I lived in Qatar and the Middle East for 17 years. None of the oil rich states allow their gas to be foreign owned. While I was there Qatar had Korean shipyards build a fleet of LNG tankers for their gas exports ie their own merchant navy. They then built a gas terminal in Wales to supply the UK. So what do we do? Allow all our gas resources to be sold by foreign companies. Angus Taylor says to solve the current problem you just need to ring the companies up. Well that's an admission that Taylor is in their pocket.

Everyone should talk about it and keep reminding ourselves that both our Prime Minister and Defence Minister think that the incarceration of Julian Assange is not servng any security issue for the countries like Australia, U.K. and the U.S. that claim freedom of speech and the rights of the press to report when our governments or military are committing crimes.

PLEASE TALK ABOUT THE RECENT JULIAN ASSANGE DEVELOPMENT! THE USA IS ABSOLUTELY GOING TO MURDER HIM IF THE EXTRADITION GOES THROUGH.

it is interesting how some main stream media and some pollies are claiming it's infrastructure and supply it is not either, yes it would be great if we had a reserve.it looks like they have taken what Eron did to California many years ago and applied it to Australia.I bet they will make more threats of power shortages to justify their price increases.

God, they talk about having to pay for emission reductions with taxes, as if letting emissions keep going up isn't going to cause twice as many problems that eventually won't be fixed by money.
