I was also at T in the Park in 2003. I didn’t see The Darkness because I was watching Ocean Colour Scene in the King Tuts tent at the same time. I did see them in 2002 when I’d no idea who they were. They were supporting Def Leppard.

2025-09-11 10:56:44 +0000 UTCUninteresting bit of trivia, they released this in 2002 but it was a complete flop, if you consider the charts the top 100, they didn't chart... So when I saw this live in T in the Park 2003, absolutely no one had heard it and it was introduced as their first single - but they did really well and it was the intro he told us it was a previous flop but will be getting released again. This was July 2003, it was then released in September 2003, went to I think 2 in the UK charts. So by the time they were playing at Reading, everyone knew the song.
