News Update: Part 3 Progress and Release Data Goals

We've been chugging away at this update for a good while, and although we don't have a massive amount to show today we wanted to give some news on current progress. After much discussion with the team we're aiming for a release date at the end of July if possible, or early August. Since this update has taken a bit longer than expected we wanted to go into a bit of detail on what we've been up to.

We're really happy with how the outer lab turned out and I'm sure you're all interested in what the Syndicate's been hiding on Cyberia!

First off we're getting two new music tracks! We've been wanting to add more music for a while and we're happy to announce that we're in the process of finishing up two brand new songs for the new location, as well as two new backgrounds (potentially 3 if all goes according to plan) and we're very excited to show off what we've been working on. Writing wise we're almost finished with the majority of the update, but we do need to do a few passes to make sure all of it is coming off as intended. This is mostly just running through the update a bunch of times and testing everything to make sure all the dialogue triggers and tones for conversation feel right.

Background has been coming along very nicely and we're gonna be showing off more once it's a bit more finished!

We do have another big thing to mention, once Part 3 is done and we're fully focused on Part 4 we think that'll take a much smaller amount of time to finish so we can really focus on the beginning of Chapter 2. We're aiming to pick up the pace with release cadence, but we also have another significant announcement to make once Part 4 is released (you can probably guess where that's heading :D ). Part 4 will most likely only include 1 new background and a few NSFW scenes, so it will hopefully be a bit quicker than Part 3. To go into a tiny bit of detail on Chapter 2 though it will be featuring a reworked location from the original iteration of Cyber Rift, and we're hoping to really go all out with it. What this means is several new backgrounds, variations on current gameplay, and hopefully even more fun minigames to play!

We're starting to get into a real groove with production lately and we'll give a bit more details on more things to come pretty soon. Again current aim for Part 3 is end of July or early August, but we hope you guys are excited for it!
