Supporter Newsletter - September

 Hello to all of our beautiful Supporters! It's that time again for a new Supporter Newsletter, this time for September. I hope you've all enjoyed these monthly posts with updates so far because we really are trying to share as much information as to what we're doing as we can. Some things we obviously don't want to share because we may not push through with the ideas or implement a new feature but we show you everything we are actually trying to work on even if some of it doesn't pan out as we planned. This month we'll be talking more about Sea of Thieves, Minecraft and GTA along with an explanation about a new event we're bringing in to try out. Let's jump right into the information for this month! 

 To start us off, I'd like to quickly touch on the topic of our GTA FiveM Server. I mentioned this in our normal Newsletter as well but I wanted to let you all know before moving too far ahead. Sadly, our GTA FiveM Lead, NickCannon has stepped down so we won't be moving along with this until we are completely ready and have the knowledge to do so. I can say that no money was spent on this endeavor before we were actually ready. It's unfortunate news, I know, but we are still planning to have our own FiveM RP Server in the future but at this point we can't give much information on when that would be.

 Let me also quickly touch on our monthly expenses and what we spend our money on from the Supporters. We did a big giveaway during August which was a big chunk of where money went. There's also the normal things, such as the Minecraft Server, Premium Bot Management, Event Prizes, Supporter Giveaway, VPS and Discord Boosts as needed. We've also started paying for a second VPS to host our GTA Online Private Server so that everything runs perfectly. I like to keep you all updated on what we're spending money on to help better our community. 

 Moving into Minecraft, I'd like to start off by saying, if you haven't joined our Survival Server yet, then now is the time. Through the month of August, we have worked hard on our Minecraft Section and have even brought on new staff members to help with that which has been amazing. Minecraft was one of our less active sections but has really been picking up lately. We now even have new benefits for all of our new and current Supporters to gain from when playing on our Minecraft Server. All Supporters now have the option to read/talk from Discord to the game and vice versa. Along with that, we've even added a way to connect your Minecraft Account with your Requiem Discord Account which will sync your roles to give you new fun things that we'll be adding for the future. Right now, in game Supporters can gain access to the Supporter Title, the Kitty Cannon, the ability to change your nickname on the server, and the hat command. We're going to be adding new things as well for our Supporters like the ability to have pets, particle trails, edit fireworks, possibly bigger claim size, and more. 

 Moving on now to Sea of Thieves, there isn't much to talk about here besides our new event that we'll be hosting this month which will be a Tall Tale Event. This event will be hosted by one of our Officers to begin with and if things go as planned it will join the new pool of regular events we host here in Requiem. This event is meant to be a complete safe server away from PvP as normal but only focus on Tall Tales and no other PvE. It's a pretty straight forward event in which we will have more information during the week after we've worked out every detail and rule for the event. I hope to see you all there! 

 Before we end off the Newsletter, I do want to add that at the end of August, we put in our application to become Discord Partners. We should hear back about this within the next 30 days and fingers crossed we get accepted. Along with this, we will also most likely hit 10K Members during the month of September and we have a pretty big event planned to announce as soon as this happens. I can't share many details but will give a little tease. We will be having more exclusive roles that will go away after the event so make sure you keep an eye out to participate. 

 August was an awesome month with Requiems 3 Year Anniversary Event. We hope that you are all enjoying the community as much as we do creating it for you. I know I say it a lot but we're constantly looking for new ways of bringing fun and engaging content to all of you so that at the end of a hard day you can come in to have a great time. Requiem will always strive to be an amazing place for all gamers to come together and meet new people while playing the games we all love.
