Well that’s it! My vacation is officially over. The past 2 weeks have flown by in an instant and i’m gutted to be in my uber from Galveston to Houston Airport to catch my flight home. It’s been an amazing couple of weeks getting some much needed downtime and i’m returning home feeling rested and excited to get back to the grind.
I’ve been avoiding Young Royals spoilers like the plague but some lovely people did decided to post some spoilers on my latest video on youtube but i’m trying to erase those from my memory. I’m sooooo excited to get stuck into Season 2 videos early next week. I need my fix of Wilmon!!!
Thank you all for sending me love over the past 2 weeks during my vacation. You truly are the best community of people. We’ve had a lot of new members the past couple of weeks so i’m looking forward to reaching out to you all and connecting on a personal level. I also cannot wait to catch up on all your comments from the past couple of videos.

2022-11-08 12:00:39 +0000 UTCI don’t think he’s susceptible to that kind of stunt, thank goodness and I can’t imagine anyone associated with Heartstopper would try that; my thoughts were that he’d just had enough of the online stuff and maybe partly to be loyal to the show’s stated intentions to involve the people on the show coming from the LGBT community, he decided to put a stop to speculation. And for his own sake too. I hope he’s not regretting it but he’s had a lot of support.

He's a self proclaimed introvert and I obviously likes his privacy to a degree. I suppose he's so in the public eye now that privacy is less and maybe this one thing he wanted to keep between him and close friends and family. I just hope it wasn't a PR stunt and they told him it'd be good for publicity. I'd hate that for him and for those who told him to do it.

Totally fxxxed up, of course, but over many months of being hassled, at the age of 18, perhaps he felt cornered and thought he had to make a declaration?

2022-11-07 16:51:29 +0000 UTCHi Jade - I was a bit puzzled about that to be honest. I mean, did he REALLY need to say what he said and announce his sexuality interests to the world? Couldn't he just have ignored all the negative comments and maybe just delete his social media accounts. If he really wanted to keep his accounts open, then just privatise them so that only his family and closest friends could communicate with him. Others have done that successfully and their mindest is in a much better place after they quit. What's the expression? Ah yes, 'What the eye doth not see, the heart doth not grieve over'. James Acaster has written a book recently on the reasons why he has quit ALL social media and given advice to why others should do the same as well.

I binged watched it, couldn’t stop and stayed awake till 2am even though I had to go to work early in the morning 😅. But it was so so worth it!!!
