Jackie, Sorry unrelated side note. Now I know that you’re not a fan of Kevin but Russell Tovey, aka Kevin, along with Robert Diament have a beautiful book titled “Talk Art” containing interviews of famous people who are also artists. I got mine from Waterstones. The entire book is beautiful from the quality of the cover to the photography of the artwork. Ha ha, this has been a free advertisement.

It’s nice to have an episode like that every now and then. The volume on the show itself was a little low this time. I didn’t miss anything, but I had to listen a little harder than usual.

I am team Ritchie all the way and as much as I like Patrick I feel Ritchie deserves better. I love the humour of the show and Doris is a friend every person needs! I see both sides of the Lynn/Dom thing but I tend to feel Dom a bit stubborn at times. I don't know. It's good to be back to Looking universe. =)

2023-06-14 13:05:52 +0000 UTCLoved this episode, like you said, so many just nice, normal things happening, love the new Augustine and the fact that he took it upon himself to go talk/apologise to Ritchie, gives me hope for the future if Ritchie decides to try and get Patrick back who I think is just starting to realise the downside of being the 'other' person in the affair as before they only spend a rushed time with each other and no need for John to be calling. This time they spent the day together and Kevin stayed the night and you could see how Kevin changed the moment the first message came in, he wasn't as 'there' as he had been, starting to worry about how to get back to him without Patrick hearing. I see both sides of the Lynn/Dom thing, Lynn was only trying to help him get a foot in the restaurant door by starting with a managerial role at someone else's place without the pressure of all other aspects of the business, however, he did it behind Dom's back. Dom was right to be mad, as he's made it clear he has always wanted his own business and Lynn had himself said he wanted the relationship to be purely personal. Let's hope this doesn't cause any problems cos that is one relationship I really love.

2023-06-14 06:59:11 +0000 UTCI love your optimism about the eventual outcome for Patrick getting back together with Ritchie. My impression is that there’s a lot more chaos in store before that stands any chance of happening and anyway, is Patrick really going to be ready for the relationship that Ritchie wants? And deserves?I agree that the sex scenes are real and well done and I am enjoying the humour of the show, but I’m not sure if I can see any happy ending for most of the characters.
