I thoroughly enjoyed it. I think she did very well and she is showing a whole other side of her performing skills. I'm not overly well versed in musical theatre but even I knew this song (Liza Minelli's version). I'd be really interested to see how she performed the rest of the role.

I just don’t know… Does the fact that half the views of you reacting to Joe on YouTube are me watching that video tell you anything??? This was fantastic, I have soft spot in my heart for this show (though it is very much tied to the previous revival) I loved your breakdown and your passion, also that you bring your technical knowledge as well, well done sir, another wonderful video… I will be seeing this new production on Broadway when Adam Lambert goes in as my hubby is very much a fan… Thank you for this and all you do, you are amazing!

Over the years I’ve seen about five different productions of Cabaret in addition to the movie, including one recently featuring a friend who is a terrific musical theatre performer, and Rhea absolutely puts a unique spin on the song and absolutely acts it, which is always preferable to just singing. I definitely hope you can do more like this in the future. And as an aside, I love Randy Newman’s score for the movie Ragtime (actually more than I like the movie itself), so I’m pleased to know you sang one of the songs from it at one point. P.S. I don’t know if you are aware of this, but the sound went out on the video from about 15:10 to 15:37.
