I hope you all had an amazing week last week - apologies for being quiet on my end!
PARIS
Paris was incredible. I had such an amazing time with one of my closest friends. It was so nice to wander around that wonderful city and just chat, drink coffee and just switch off. Funnily enough we kind of ended up doing my previous Paris trip but in reverse 🤣
It has also confirmed my thoughts that citybreaks, for me, are for the colder months. It was so much more enjoyable to be in the city in a coat and hat rather than SWEATING.
On the note of Paris - I was able to get the last couple of shots I needed for the Paris Part 2 video so that will be coming soon!
THE NEXT FEW WEEKS
These next few weeks are going to be interesting for me. I am moving the majority of my stuff down to Dorset this weekend (as Reiss' parents have very kindly offered to help me before they go on holiday) - so I am going to have a weird limbo stage where I have moved 95% of my stuff a week and a half before I am actually supposed to move but will potentially still be in London... I don't really know how this will play out so bear with me. I'll try my hardest to not have it affect the upload schedule.
THE NEXT VIDEOS
I am gutted that Druck has now come to an end - I have really loved this wonderful show and it is definitely one of my favourite LGBT shows I've seen to date.
Moving forward - Fellow Travelers will definitely be the focus because it is incredible and doing incredibly well over on YouTube.
I do intent of continuing with Our Flag Means Death but I have noticed that it hasn't been particularly popular... what are your thoughts?
I would like to continue watching something from the SKAM Universe so what would your preference of the other remakes be?

2023-11-14 13:48:58 +0000 UTCIf you're taking recommendations (you're under no obligation to read this), I would recommend Interview With The Vampire (2022). IMO, it's one of the best series out there. It's a little horror-y but it's mostly about a queer interracial couple who have a ton of issues and happen to be vampires. Don't feel obligated to check it out since you're busy. I just wanted to through it out there. :)

As for any other Skam seasons I personally would rather see other non related shows but I think I am in the minority there and will still be here watching other things, am loving Fellow Travellers. xx

Druck would get my vote for a show that was much better than I ever expected and OFMD would get my vote for a show that I just couldn’t get into at all, although I can see that others have been enjoying it, which is great. So…not sure where this leaves me, but I am sure you’ll choose wisely and I will be here, even if not actually watching. x

Is that a permanent thing or just a temporary decision whilst you move back to Brighton? I'm hoping that it's a temporary decision, but I fully understand why you have decided that as your non-social media schedule is taking up the majority of your time. Meanwhile, good luck with the move!

I’m liking OFMD, I’ve been hesitant about Skam and Druck because I feel like I have to watch the first seasons as it feels weird to pick up in the middle, I will get to them though!

I am no expert, having lived in the same place for 41 years, but other people tell me it’s not fun, so I hope you have a better than average experience. I also hope you continue OFMD, both because I am enjoying it and because it’s the only way I’ll ever get to watch the show. It is surprising to me as well that it’s not doing so well for you. My personal choice for the next viewing from the Skam universe would be the fourth season of the OG, which is from Sana’s point of view but does also have some good stuff with Isak and Even, especially if you include the birthday video at the very end. My second choice after that would probably be starting Druck from the beginning, since, as I mentioned in the comment on the last episode of season three, the first season is very similar to the OG, and the second season is actually better. That being said, a good case could be made for watching the original from the beginning through the end, especially because it gives you full continuity and makes the end of the series particularly powerful.

2023-11-13 12:55:57 +0000 UTCRegarding OFMD, it’s a show that is a slow start. I can see why the first 3 episodes wouldn’t get much traction, but I expect those numbers to go up as you get a bit further in. You are just about at the part where things get exciting

As far as other SKAM content, I have not seen any of the other remakes but Druck has some further seasons that deal with LGBTQIA+ characters. I would love you to watch the original SKAM from the beginning. Isak has a pretty big part in season 1 and I would love to see your views on some of the background acting from Tarjei and the choices his character made. Isak also plays a pretty big part in season 4. Season 2 doesn't have Isak in it much but there are some really nice scenes with Eskild and a bit of Isak's backstory. I just would like to hear your views on those seasons but I understand that is a lot of time to spend on a show that was not one of your favs.

I'm personally rather desperate for you to continue OFMD on a more regular schedule if possible and hope to get your thoughts on S2 as well. It's been a very popular show for HBO, is extremely queer, has a lovely message, & stellar inclusivity in cast/crew/writers (3 NB/trans writers on S1 & 4 NB/trans writers of color on S2, pretty unprecedented for a major network show), so it's a show I hope more people will support and love. Sorry to hear it hasn't been too popular on your channel. I know it's been well received on the other LGBTQ reaction channels I've seen do the show, must just depend on your audience.
