At the convention this year, I hosted/ran a little D&D homebrewing seminar on two of the three days. Besides talking about homebrews, sharing some things I've made, and giving feedback on attendees' homebrew and DMing ideas, I asked attendees to give me 3 keywords at a time to use as prompts and came up with homebrews right there.
This is the result of one of those creative moments, using the 3 prompts of appetite, duplicitous, and knife.
It may seem like a magical weapon, but it is not. The identify spell will reveal nothing when used on it. Any abilities it has come from its origin...which only becomes apparent once you roll 2 nat 1s in a single day.
This includes two descriptive blocks, one that can be shared with the players, and one for the GM only.
