Marie tries to ask Vicky for help (yeah...the same Vicky who makes people's heads explode) and finds out they share the same power! Meanwhile, Cate faces Indira and takes back control...then does something that shocked us all D:

We actually saw in s3 that baby Victoria killed her own parents too. Victoria isn't that bad, not compared to Butcher anyways. Victoria genuinely feels for and relates to Marie. Telling Victoria does benefit the kids at Godulkin, because Victoria doesn't want any supes kids including her own daughter. Victoria gave Marie great advice, Marie can't just walk another path bcuz like she was advised not to, because Vought will destroy her way before she makes any real change. Let's also not forget that Victoria was "adopted" as a teen to Stan Edgar who raised her as his own and was a big influence on her. Edgar even admits to Homelander that Vicky is more like himself than he even realised.
