Hello All!

First, thank you to everyone for your support in June!  A lot of folks stuck around even after a couple of big releases had passed and I really appreciate it!  Some of you have even stuck around for my entire run on Patreon, THANK YOU SO MUCH!

As mentioned in a previous post, I'm working on a set of mocap tools, so that'll be my big release next month.  It's the most complicated thing I've done in VaM so far so there is some serious jank :-P  But the most important bits work pretty well, so if you don't mind it being rough around the edges, I'll try to release sooner rather than later.  Here are some of the highlights:

* Load an animation stored as a standard VaM animation directly from another scene.

* Playback with linear or spline interpolation

* Reduce the framerate in realtime (combined with the spline interpolation, this can really smooth out more jittery animations).

* Save animations for reuse on any character.  You can save all the frames, or with reduced frames.

* Animation blending for seamless looping!!!  I really wanted this feature, so I'm very excited to say it's in and working!  There are still hiccups sometimes, but it works really well in a lot of situations.  The smoothed transitions can be saved when you save the animation to easily load up a seamless loop on a character.

* There's more, but a lot of it doesn't work well :-P

In the Aprototypical tier I've got a couple of half-bake experiments I'll release for your amusement :-P  More info on that in the coming weeks.

Dude, that is really exciting. Sounds like the mocap switcher on steroids. I can't wait to try it!
