🌟 What I've been up to this week! 🌟

Hey guys! Happy Friday, yay! 💖

I'm sorry I've been a little absent this past week, I had a big deadline for today and I had to run a bit. I have various things to show you, so this post is going to be a mix of stuff, okay? 

First of all, the past weekend I asked through IG stories some doodle suggestions to draw freely on my sketchbook, as an exercise to keep drawing objects-animals and stuff that isn't just humans.

 I still have looots of suggestions that I want to draw as soon as I find the time again. I also kept practicing a bit with posca markers, -without too much success- but at least I made a colorful page:

These pages have two completely different styles haha the posca doodles are heavily inspired by Susann Hoffmann, check out her art, she's a Posca genius! 

Two days ago Procreate invited me to try out the beta of their newest version Procreate5X, which got me really excited! I played around with the new features and I loved everything about it. 

They announced like 3 hours ago that the update will be out september 21st! So yeah, to all of you procreate lovers, stay tuned cause you guys are going to love it!  I wish they added gradients, though ;o; they have gradient maps now but it's not the same as just a normal gradient tool, :c also I was hoping a magic wand tool or something similar to select a color area by clicking on it. Here's another random thing I started that I didn't finish:

Also, today I finished that Zatanna illustration I was doing for a friend for his comic book shop, I'm reallyyy happy with the result, and I like how the background turned out especially

Random stuff that also happened this week that may or may not be interesting:

 ✦  I bought this new book of Ariel that Disney released recently, (which apparently is only available in spanish, not sure why) it's a comic that happens right after the first movie and before all the Melody stuff. Isn't it cute!?I loved the illustrations, can't wait to read it!

 ✦  I got some big news I can't talk about yet, not until later this month! but GUYSS I'm shocked. It may or may not be regarding some event I participated months ago...... but SHHHHHHHHHHHH shjgfsghsasda

 ✦ I also bought the Beast Boy comic by Gabriel Picolo and Kami Garcia  😊

 ✦  I listened the To Kill a Kingdom audiobook and I enjoyed it a lot! Now I know why people always compare my ocs (the mermaid and the sailor) with those two protagonists *sighs*

Okay, I guess those are all the 'important' news I have right now. I have another big deadline this next Wednesday, I'm finally wrapping up the new comic I'm doing for DC, and I can't wait to have a little more free time after that!

I'm going to post some coloring pages for the Sea Song tier tomorrow and the Zatanna step by step too!
