Hello guyyss! Hope you had a fantastic weekend!
Last night I took a short break to draw for myself because I really needed it. I wanted to try out Copic colored multiliners for the first time cause I've been inking with black all my life and I was really excited to try to incorporate more color into my lines.

I just drew a bunch of random faces and decided to paint these monochromatic, using only 2-3 markers for each, to make the lines pop a bit more.

I really liked the result and it was a fun process! also, not thinking a lot about colors making sense and just using a very limited palette was super relaxing. These are the multiliners, if you're curious (excuse my bad handwriting)

I had time for one more art experiment so I did a quick drawing using some supplies I got from Scrawlrbox some days ago, which is a subscription box that offers a cool selection of art supplies each month. The boxes come with different challenges and the idea is that you have to create something using only those tools! For example, this is what came in one of the boxes:

I had to resist the urge to pick up more colors or sketch with my usual red pencil lol but that marker sketch pad was actually awesome and it's a MILLION times better for painting with poscas, the paper is smooth and it didn't tear out like it happened in other occasions using my Moleskine sketchbook. Really recommended!
So anyways, I thought I was going to fail the challenge big time but I managed to paint this:

Definitely not my best work but I feel I'm slowly unlocking some Posca markers knowledge and skills, the challenge was 'character creation' by the way. Can't wait to do a new piece but this time using the rest of my colors :D
Hope you enjoyed this quick art update! More soon!
Take care and thanks for being here π
