How are you? Happy Easter for those who celebrate it!!
On Friday I finished some work I had pending and I just been trying to push the release of my set of brushes as much a I can for today. Just a couple of hours left! I couldn't make a Youtube video on time and I feel bad about that :(
I don't know if you remember, but my last collab was the plushie... and it did so bad in the end haha :') one of the many reasons it flopped was because I didn't push it or promote it that much. I chicken out when I saw it wasn't going to hit the 200 backers goal.
I learned my lesson and I don't want this project to follow the same steps that's why I've been extra annoying on insta with it lol (this not being some kind of crowfunding project makes it so much easier, though)
I have another collab on the works, this time washi tapes! 🌸🌸 I think it's just so genuinely fun seeing my art turn into things I like, I really love doing these collabs just not the part where I'm supposed to sell that stuff haha
Anyways!
I'm totally blocked with the direction I should go with the 5-7 washi tape set. My brain instantly go towards a maritime/witchy theme but I feel I've been abusing those subjects a little bit. I'm not sure.
I'd LOVE to read you guys if you have any suggestions for me, what would you like seeing from me? if you are into washi tapes, what's what you like the most about them? what are your favorite types, foil details/grid/full patterns/ series of objects? what do you use them for? do you have any themes you like?
I'm hoping that by reading your thoughts I can clear my mind a little bit and unblock some ideas and decide for a direction. Please take your time, no need to answer today!
