Dimash-💥EARLY RELEASE💥-“Stranger”

This is my first early release on Patreon! It will go live for everyone Friday on the YouTube channel, so those of you who are my hard-core followers get to see it first.

Please spread the word because if we get enough Dears (fans of Dimash) in the chat, I might start a whole separate chat just for you all! Then you can decide together what the next best Dimash song I should react to is!

I really enjoyed breaking this one down. Dimash is such an amazing vocalist.

Your reactions always make me smile. I've watched some of Dimashs' songs, always through reactions, everyone is amazed by his vocal range, but no one, except one I heard from a vocal teacher spoke to how he developed this range, the teacher stated he had to have started his training pre-puberty, any thoughts? I've suggested this before, his "Ave Maria", unexpected, but powerful. Thanks :-)

My bad, I didn't comment! So, let me say on my return trip back here that it is just a thrill to listen to you talk about his voice! Stranger is so popular and you pointed out all the reasons why. You have so much to look into you have a lot of excitement ahead of you and so do we as we rush back to savor every word you utter! Hope to see you again soon. Do you want some recommendations or do you want some? I'd sort of like you to hear some of his early, early stuff, before the SOS performance that launched his global career. Then bounce forward a bit to hear how his tone(s) have become even richer as he matured. Well, that's just me. I'll love anything you do! Thanks, Tim!

I am so excited to be here. I normally do not do subscriptions. I learn so much about music from you. And, I love different kinds of music like you do. I can't wait for the chat conversations about music. I miss having friends who really dig into music. Thank you for creating a safe community. Most Sincerely, TracyAnn

Hi from South Africa. I'm glad to see you got your Patreon going!

Traci K

Thank you Tim! First time I have made it to a Patreon account. I can hardly wait to hear your thoughts on so many other numbers. (Hope I'll be able to retrace my steps to get here again;/ )

The middle part of that China performance blows me away! It's unique to other things we hear him do with some regularity. Also, the TONE on that part is so pure. It's succulent!

Peggy Hudak

Yeah, that was one moment where I really was questioning whether it was a live singing experience or not. Someone was telling me in the comments that they didn’t think any of this performance was live. I don’t want to get into all of that, I feel like I can comment on his singing, whether it was live or not, because he did sing it at some point. That was definitely an amazing moment, regardless!

Thanks, I will!

There are some copyright restrictions currently on this video from YouTube, im able to tell while it’s unlisted. Nothing that should be a problem though when I go live. Thanks for the recommendations, though!

If you plan on posting this on YouTube I highly recommend you use a filter of some sort. This performance tends to get blocked. Like Ellana T mentioned the one in China is a different version worth watching. That one is unquestionably live since it was part of a vocal competition. He was very ill though, running a fever and you can tell looking at him but he still killed it. He gets lower in that one than this performance and his melismas are different

Steph

Thank you for a wonderful reaction and the technique breakdown! I really enjoy your Dimash reactions. You should also check out another “Stranger” performance in China. He changed the middle part there. It’s even more dramatic! https://youtu.be/thbgh0qIscI?si=sRN-5jbyJUouACLv

Another wonderful reaction. Thank you! I knew you'd appreciate his range in this one. What blows me away is at the very end when Dimash, while maintaining that gorgeous long note, drops to his knees. I think I can detect a miniscule split second of change in his breath, but not sure. I'm curious if you noticed it. It seems like a very difficult thing to do.
