2025-10-05 08:39:37 +0000 UTCI'm no longer in the FIR camp, not a big rap fan but Popular Monster is great, Im more familiar with the older stuff. I think that this song does link to some extent with Ronnie's own personal life (if you haven't found it yet, the lead singer is called Ronnie Radke), I don't know a lot about it but Im pretty sure hes gone through, or is still going through some difficult times, Popular Monster in a more angry way certainly reflects how I feel with depression after having it for 26 years with no proper release, getting passed around, being told 'itll be fine' with long term side effects etc, that's how I see the song and lyrics, very deep and very dark.
