I fear this will be one of those unfortunate tl;dr comments, but there are so many things on my mind right now! First of all, I love how you get all excited at the beatboxing and try to emulate what you just heard. I am not into beatboxing. Or at least not anymore. Though I had my share of attempts of beatboxing back in the days, trying to imitate Doug E. Fresh and The Fat Boys. But it was fun seeing you get all excited. Then, I saw reactions to this from different people on YouTube and I wondered how reacting to these songs actually works, if you don't now the original songs. I had the feeling most reactors didn't know the songs before reacting. Just like you also admitted to not knowing them. I mean, yes, you can appreciate the beatboxing by itself, but you have nothing to compare it to, it might as well be an original sound. Luckily I knew all of them before listening to BEATPELLA's interpretation and they are imitating the instruments/sounds just perfectly. Even the singer Yella E. tried to match the original singers' tones and she hit the spot. Then you asked, if the songs are popular. Since I know them all, I would say, they are fairly well known. A few are lesser known though. Maybe the number of views on YouTube can put it in perspective. There are 15 songs with a combined number of 5.6 billion views. With Lisa - 'Money' Performance video surpassing 1.1 billion views, BTS - 'Butter' amassing over 1 billion views. Followed by BLACKPINK - 'Shut Down' with 750 million views at the time of writing this. Leaves an average of ~220 million views per song for the remaining 12 songs, if my math is correct. And yes, the line 'Lisa will you teach me Japanese' is from Blackpink's Lisa's solo track 'Rockstar'. And finally, BEATPELLA covered 'ANTIFRAGILE' by LE SSERAFIM in this medley. Both groups also did a collaboration featuring three LE SSERAFIM songs and it looks like the video was shot in one frame. Which is pretty amazing. The transitions from one song to another are done so smoothly. Just like in the KPop medley.
