Rosé- 'number one girl' REACTION

Although I didn't love the obvious vocal effects process on her vocals, I thought it was a very sweet vulnerable pop love song, and I think she has a beautiful voice.

2024-12-02 11:07:08 +0000 UTCIt's a lovely piece, and her voice is wonderful, but the auto-tuning crushes her into a narrow bandwidth significantly, and makes her sound like a dozen other girls out there right now. Highly unfortunate. I'm not sure why this is all the rage with so many producers these days, but after you listen to people like Chappell, or Olivia (Both produced by Dan Nigro) or Kelly Clarkson and so many others you get a real feel for when peoples voices are bing squished and stretched. And while it can make for a pleasant piece to hear, I always feel like a robot is singing to me on some level.
