Unfortunately, the vocal was heavily pitch corrected in both which took a lot of the emotion out of the performance, but I don’t linger on that topic too much. I am still figuring out the right amount of mentioning it when I hear it, I appreciate all of your feedback on helping me find balance with the integration of that topic into my analyses.
I was able to find several other things to talk about that I thought were beautiful about his singing regardless of the processing done. I’m a huge fan of Tyler Joseph’s singing!

Tim - my heart grew heavy as you spoke about losing your Grandma, I loved the video of you two singing, what a treasure to have that recorded moment, nothing unites us like the passing of a loved one, we've all been there. Sending you hugs. I love that you speak up about pitch correction, I'm old school, I just turned 72, and in my day, this never would have been a consideration, if you alter your voice, then we're not seeing the real you. We're heading to an era where we won't even need singers, everything will have been created by AI, when I watch Queen's Live AID Concert, I think what a loss that will be. That is how music was done in my day! So, someone has to call attention to this, who better than you??
