Lea Salonga-‘On My Own’-Les Miserables

As I mentioned, I’ll be sprinkling in a bit more musical theatre on the channel. That being said, I can’t get too far down this MT road without celebrating Lea Salonga!
Lea was the original Kim in ‘Miss Saigon’ back in the day and she’s also famous for her Eponine in ‘Les Miserables’ as well.
I had a blast breaking this one down. Let me know what you think!

I always thought that clear diction was something singers strived for as well as being able to be heard at the very back of the theater. I thought about that as I watched that amazing Bolero video I sent you, I noticed many of the moves were exaggerated and thought that had to be so that the audience in the back row got the full impact. See? I'm looking at music videos more critically now, your teachings are sticking. :-)
