DEEP VOCAL ANALYSIS of ‘Thunder Brinder’-EPIC: The Musical

This is for you musical theatre fans, in particular those of you who are into EPIC: The Musical. I thought this was an interesting one to do a deep analysis on since Luke Holt the singer for Zeus, uses some interesting vocal techniques that we haven’t really heard yet up to this point in the musical.

Let me know what you think! More EPIC to come!

Cheers,

Tim

It was such a wonderful surprise to hear a little bit of "If I Can't Love Her" from you during this. Thank you for the wonderful breakdown, too.

Thanks, Grace I love you pointing out the line about pride.

As a die hard EPIC fan, I just want to applaud you on predicting this moment. So in the Ocean saga in the song “Luck Runs Out” Odysseus says “ I took 600 men to war and not one of them died there” when you reacted to that you said he was getting too cocky and that usually means something bad is about to happen. The first line in this song is “pride is a damsel in distress” Pride here is referring to Odysseus’ hubris. I love watching your reactions and deep dives! Please announce when you’re going to react to the wisdom saga because I will gladly watch live!
