BEATBOXING: Inward Bass Study

As you all are starting to gather, I get really obsessed with things I'm passionate about, and beatboxing is quickly becoming yet another rabbit hole I'm going down.

In this video, I am studying one of the more challenging sounds to make for beatboxers...inward bass.

If you have any tips for me, leave them in a comment.

anecdotally I think chest bass is batman voice but without voice so.. exclusively false folds? and it feels exactly like "outward"-inward bass but much smoother and less dramatic vibration in throat, inward bass's sensation has a ""glugyness" to it, like drinking "glug glug glug" but obviously very fast (adams apple has to be pretty high for me to get the sound) if you watch vocadah headbangers you can see his larynx just disappear into his head somewhere

Awesome thanks Chris!

hey man, its insane how many sounds you're getting in such a short time. don't be to stuck with the snore bass, i'm at remix his tutorial now, but you're too focussed on the vibration on top, try to focus more on the airflow, i cannot do inward bass yet, but i've got some other basslines, and most of the times i started with the wrong vibration, and got the bass by trying different pressure points at different positions.
