If you listen to their songs, she barely has any singing lines. I wondered if YG (their entertainment agency) hadn't bothered to give her proper vocal lessons, given the criticism she's received lately for her lack of live vocal skills since starting her solo career. I am happy for her that she's been exploring a wide range of songs since beginning her solo career outside of YG's influence. Initially, I thought she was trying to distance herself from "K-pop," so I was surprised she chose to speak Korean in this short film. Kentaro Sakaguchi is a Japanese actor and model. If you watch the beginning of the short film, you can see it starts with his funeral, where she places a flower in his casket.

I have a suggestion if you don't mind: K-Pop wise, an artist named IU is so beloved in Korea that she's known as 'The Nation's Little Sister' or the 'Nation's Sweetheart.' She has a seriously lovely voice. I recommend breaking down her song 'Love Wins All.' It's beautiful, and the music video is very emotional and tells an interesting story.
