The Renault 5 Turbo or R5 Turbo is a feisty little sport hatchback. Over the two-year secret ambitious endeavour, the car was designed for rallying, but had to also be sold as a street version to compete.  At the time of its launch, it was the most powerful production French car. This is the fictional R version, based on the R5 Maxi Turbo Superproduction which won the French Supertouring Championship in 1984. One of my favourites. Sports Car International named the R5 Turbo number nine on the list of Top Sports Cars of the 1980s.

Piloted by none other than Jean Ragnotti (The God), the R5 Turbo won the Monte Carlo Rally on its first outing in the World Rally Championship in 1981.

I have learned lots working on this automotive gem. I took my time to get it right and crammed a lot of goodness in a little monster that packs a lionheart. Many thanks to the all modders that helped with this fantastic mod.
