Some plans about VAM 2
Added 2025-04-03 09:47:52 +0000 UTCA few days ago, the first Beta version of VAM 2 was released, which is an exciting news. I downloaded it for the first time and experienced it.
This also means that I need to make some plans and preparations for this.
As far as the current roadmap of VAM 2 is concerned, it is necessary to support the development of plug-ins in version 1.2. It may take some time, during which I will do some study and preparation for the new framework and new technology of VAM2.
Once VAM2 is really ready, I will spend some time doing some related development work for VAM 2.
In the early stage, I will be more inclined to transplant some existing plug-ins of VAM1 to VAM2, and gradually become familiar with the development of plug-ins related to VAM2. The first plug-in to be transplanted may be AdvancedPathfindingSystem.
However, VAM2 is still in a very early stage. May often face great changes. I will still devote more energy to the development of VAM1 related content in the future.

Given that VaM2 has been under development since January 2020, I wouldn't make any plans around VaM2 at all. "Once VAM2 is really ready, I will spend some time doing some related development work for VAM 2" Honestly, Vam2 has been under development for FIVE YEARS and is only just now barely at a beta.
